You are such an amazing person. Your heart is so big & you are possibly the most encouraging person I have ever met. You often send me into peels of laughter at your observations, questions, and insights. This past year you have fallen in love with ballet and trail riding, you've declared you want to play soccer in the spring, have overcome your fear of being in the basement by yourself, and become quite the little helper in the kitchen. You've also decided that you want a kitty (not gonna happen 'till you have your own house), feel the insane need to name every inanimate animal we come across with names that no one else can pronounce, and declared that you will be a girl scout when you are bigger. Your personal sense of style is showing through as you insist on wearing rain boots most of the time, love your shorts (passed down from brother), and putting clippies randomly in your hair. You are a lovely biggle who adores both her older brother and her younger sister...at least most of the time. I love snuggling with you and hanging out coloring or reading books or browsing the aisles where you maintain a running commentary about everything in sight. I love that your heart is full of songs and you sing instead of talk quite often. I don't know that you will ever understand just how much I love you and how my heart swells when you give me a hug just because.
Babygirl, I pray this next year is a wonderful one for you and I pray that you will always remember that I am incredibly blessed to be your mommy.
